KABUL: The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Shaikh-ul-Hadith Mawlavi Hebatullah Akhundzada, approved the establishment of a Medical Science Faculty at the Ghazni University, the spokesman of the Ministry of Higher Education, Hafiz Ziaullah Hashimi, said on Monday.
“Based on a special decree issued by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate, the establishment of the Faculty of Medicine was approved, at the Ghazni University,” he said.
To expand the quality of medical education, create facilities for providing health services to the people, and solve health problems facing the people of the province, the faculty will be established and equipped with modern medical equipment, he said.
