KABUL: Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to China, Mawlavi Bilal Karimi, met with Sudhindra Kulkarni, a former diplomat and aide to India’s former Prime Minister, at the embassy.
The IEA embassy in China said in a statement that in the meeting, political, economic, transit, and consular issues between Afghanistan and India have been discussed.
The former diplomat expressed efforts to elevate the political relations between the Islamic Emirate and India.
He also expressed hope that India would invest in the areas of construction, health, and electricity in Afghanistan.
The IEA ambassador emphasized that the Islamic Emirate seeks balanced and economically focused relations with all countries based on mutual interaction.
He expressed hope that India would resume its previously uplift projects in Afghanistan, noting that the country could play a significant transit role in the transport of Indian goods to Asia.
Recently, relations between Kabul and New Delhi have expanded across various sectors.
