FBI removes bounty on Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani

KABUL: Following the U.S. Department of State’s official removal of the $10 million bounty on Sirajuddin Haqqani, the acting Minister of Interior Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, under the ‘Reward for Justice’ program, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has also taken similar action.
The move was part of the steps taken by the U.S. Department of State last week regarding the ‘Reward for Justice’ program.
It is noteworthy that this decision has also been welcomed by Hafiz Anas Haqqani, a member of the Islamic Emirate’s political commission.
