KABUL: The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s esteemed Amir-ul-Momineen, Shaikh-ul-Hadith Mawlavi Hebatullah Akhundzada, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the faithful and mujahid people of Afghanistan as well as to all Muslims around the world on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Fitr.
“The day of Eid al-Fitr is a day of unity, kindness, and worship for Muslims; therefore, all Muslims should celebrate this day in an atmosphere of gratitude, piety, and brotherhood,” he said.
In a statement released by the spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, the esteemed Amir-ul-Momineen urged all citizens to express gratitude for the current security, stability, and governance of the Islamic system, and to strive for further progress in the country.
The Supreme Leader assured all citizens that under the shadow of the Islamic Emirate, the Ministry of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, as well as the Ministry of Listening to Complaints, is working to prevent all forms of corruption.
