KABUL: Four Chinese individuals have been arrested in Kabul on charges of gold smuggling.
Abdullah Farooqi, a spokesperson for the Border Police, said that they [Chinese nationals] have been arrested at Kabul International Airport, where they were attempting to smuggle 678 grams of raw gold to China.
It is worth noting that many foreign nationals are currently engaged in various activities within the country. However, this is the first instance of a case involving the smuggling of gold by foreign individuals being reported in the media.
