IEA seeks interaction with all sides based on balanced, non-harmful, and economy-centered policy, Minister Muttaqi

KABUL: In a meeting with Japan’s Ambassador Takayoshi Kurumaya in Kabul,  the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, discussed bilateral relations, Japan’s cooperation, and other international issues.

In the meeting, Minister Muttaqi, pointing to the recent diplomatic developments, stated that the Islamic Emirate is seeking to establish honorable relations with all sides based on its balanced, non-harmful, and economy-centered policies.

He also considered the visit of a high-level delegation from the Islamic Emirate to Japan as an important step toward the development of bilateral relations and requested Japan to invest in Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, the Japanese ambassador assured cooperation with Afghanistan in the area of alternative cultivation for narcotics.
