KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Friday night that as a result of the efforts of the Afghan Embassy in Abu Dhabi, 54 Afghan citizens who were imprisoned in various jails in the United Arab Emirates have been released.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed gratitude to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, for the release of Afghan citizens from the jails of the country.
Furthermore, the ministry stated that the release of Afghan citizens reflects the positive bilateral relations between Kabul and Abu Dhabi.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also published a list of the released prisoners.
