KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump recently stated that Kyiv will never become a NATO member.
Trump made the remarks in a conversation with reporters that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wants his country to join NATO, but this will never happen, Reuters reported this morning.
Trump emphasized that Zelensky is trying to withdraw from a rare mineral agreement with the U.S., adding that if this effort succeeds, Ukraine will face significant challenges.
This comes after Trump stated yesterday that he is angry with Russian President Vladimir Putin due to efforts for peace in Ukraine.
