KABUL: In response to threats from U.S. President Donald Trump regarding a potential bombing of Iran, Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, stated that the malign actions of Washington and the Israeli regime will be met with a firm and reciprocal response.
Khamenei made the remarks yesterday during the Eid al-Fitr prayers.
He noted that the West accuses the courageous nations of the region of acting as proxies, but emphasized that there is only one proxy force in the region—namely, the Israeli regime.
According to Khamenei, it is highly unlikely that the U.S. and Israel would attempt any actions against Iran from outside.
Recently, Donald Trump reiterated his warning that if Tehran does not reach an agreement with Washington regarding its nuclear program, bombing would follow.
