KABUL: The spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, has dismissed rumors, suggesting that only the families of martyrs and orphans of the Islamic Emirate are currently receiving financial assistance.
He stated that there are 653,265 orphans, widows, and disabled individuals across the country, all of whom receive their annual allowances in a timely manner.
He further mentioned that among this group, 167,665 are orphans, widows, and disabled individuals associated with the Islamic Emirate, while 122,299 individuals are widows, orphans, and disabled persons from the previous administration’s military and police forces who have been registered.
Mujahid noted that last year, a budget of 12.5 billion Afghanis was allocated for these individuals.
It is important to emphasize that, despite the ongoing conflicts, annual rights are also granted to severely disabled individuals.
