KABUL: A mother and her three children, who were on their way to a relative’s home, tragically drowned in powerful floodwaters in the Chahar Toot village of the Hesarak district of Nangarhar province.
The four individuals were swept away by powerful floodwaters, and local villagers were unable to save them in time.
The bodies of the deceased were recovered by security forces and handed over to their relatives.
It is worth noting that carelessness around river waters in Nangarhar and other eastern provinces frequently results in the loss of lives.
