KABUL: China’s Ministry of Commerce has urged the U.S. government to promptly abolish the imposed unilateral tariffs and to resolve this crisis through dialogue.
In a press release, the ministry stated that Beijing opposes Washington’s actions and will take reciprocal measures to safeguard its rights and interests.
This comes as U.S. President Donald Trump announced yesterday that, in addition to imposing a 10% tariff on all imported goods, he has enacted a 34% tariff on Chinese products and a 20% tariff on European goods.
