HERAT: The Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Mullah Hedayatullah Badri, Shaikh Mohammad Islamjar, Governor of Herat, and a delegation from Turkmenistan assessed the construction site of the TAPI pipeline project, the Herat governor’s press office said in a statement today.
During their visit, the officials emphasized the need to expedite the work process and ensure the timely completion of the pipeline, said the statement.
According to the statement, 11 kilometers of the TAPI gas pipeline have been constructed within Afghan territory in the province.
Local authorities have ensured the necessary facilities to advance the practical work of the project.
