KUNDUZ: The Kunduz Police Command said in a statement on Saturday that a three-member group of rioters has been arrested by security forces in the province.
According to the statement, the group was arrested as a result of intelligence information provided by the vigilant police in the fifth PD of Kunduz city.
The group has been detained while attacking a Mujahideen checkpoint with hand grenades, said the statement.
The individuals are now in custody and will be handed over to judicial organs after initial investigations, the statement further said.
Kunduz security forces assure residents that they will not allow anyone to disrupt security in the province.
