HERAT: The Herat governor’s press office said in a statement today that the province welcomed 25,000 domestic tourists during the three days of the Eid al-Fitr holidays.
According to the statement, notable attractions such as the Herat Mosque, historical minarets, old markets, and ancient gardens drew significant attention from the visitors.
It is noted that during the three days, the highest number of tourists visited these sites.
Herat, recognized as one of Afghanistan’s ancient, cultural, and tourist-rich provinces, has consistently charmed tourists due to its historical landmarks, beautiful natural scenery, and traditional markets.
