KABUL: The spokesman of the Ministry of Higher Education, Hafiz Ziaullah Hashemi, said in a statement today that funding for the purchase of 20 jiribs of land for the expansion of the Nuristan Higher Education Institute has been approved.
According to the statement, the funding for the land purchase has been approved due to the special generosity of the esteemed Amir-ul-Momineen of the Islamic Emirate.
“The Nuristan Higher Education Institute was facing difficulties due to a lack of suitable space for administrative and teaching sectors,” said the statement.
He added that the leader of the Islamic Emirate recognized this situation and issued directives for the necessary land purchase, which will begin soon.
Previously, the leader of the Islamic Emirate has also issued specific orders for the establishment of medical faculties in universities in Badakhshan and Ghazni provinces as part of his continued focus on higher education in the country.
