KABUL: A meeting of the Health Committee of the High Commission on the Issues of Returning Migrants was held under the chairmanship of Mawlavi Noor Jalal Jalali, the Acting Minister of Public Health.
According to a statement from the ministry on Sunday night, the purpose of the meeting was to manage the provision of better health services to returnees, offer preventive services to control contagious diseases and establish better health measures and coordination with national and international health institutions.
Minister Jalali evaluated the operational plan of the committee and issued necessary directives for enhancing and developing health services for returnees.
Efforts and preparedness for the arrival of migrants and addressing their issues have been increasing in the country.
