FAIZABAD: The police spokesperson for the Ashkashim district of Badakhshan province said in a statement today that the smuggling of 500 sheep prevented to Tajikistan.
According to the statement, the livestock were being transported in four Kamaz trucks and were set to be illegally smuggled to Tajikistan.
The statement also mentioned that one smuggler, along with nine drivers and guards of the livestock, had been arrested in connection with the case.
