KABUL: The Acting Minister of Refugees and Repatriations, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, has met with Uzbek Ambassador Aybek Osmanov in Kabul.
In the meeting, Ambassador Osmanov stated that the current level of trade between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan has reached $1.1 billion and is expected to increase to $2 billion next year.
Mawlawi Abdul Kabir emphasized the importance of implementing Afghan-Trans and other economic projects, noting that Afghanistan aims to play a significant role in regional stability and reconstruction through the expansion of economic and trade relations with other countries.
He also criticized Pakistan for the forced expulsion of refugees, indicating that Afghan citizens are facing difficult circumstances in that country.
