KABUL: The Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement today that the Anti-Narcotics Police Personnel of the ministry have arrested 15 individuals along with 7 kgs of narcotics in seven provinces.
“The counter-narcotics police personnel of the ministry conducting operations in Khost, Zabul, Farah, Paktia, Balkh, Nimroz and Kunduz provinces detained 15 individuals along with 5 kgs of opuim and 2 kgs of hashish and some narcotic tablets,” said the statement.
Following necessary investigations, the cases of these individuals are expected to be forwarded to the judicial authorities for further action.
The Islamic Emirate’s security, defense, and intelligence forces continue their struggle against the cultivation, production, trafficking, sale, and use of narcotics in the country.
