At least 200 civilians killed by militant groups in Sudan

KABUL: At least 200 civilians have been killed in attacks by armed militants known as the “Rapid Support Forces” on refugee camps in Sudan, The Guardian reported on Sunday night.
The civilians were killed in refugee camps following a series of attacks around the city of “Al-Fasher,” one of the largest cities in Sudan, located in the Darfur region and currently controlled by army forces.
The report states that the Rapid Support Forces, who are engaged in conflict with the army, set fire to buildings in the Zamzam area yesterday, claiming that Sudanese army troops were being moved into those buildings.
According to the reports, the United Nations has stated that killings are severely continuing in two major refugee camps in Al-Fasher.
Sudan has faced internal conflicts in recent years, primarily involving clashes between army forces and the Rapid Support Forces.
