KABUL: The cabinet meeting of the Islamic Emirate was held with the Prime Minister, Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, on the chair, discussing the distribution of land for returnees in the country.
According to a statement from Arg on Monday, the meeting also focused on important economic, social, and cultural issues of the country, the statement said.
In the meeting, the High Commission for Addressing Refugees Issues has been tasked to begin the process of distributing land to eligible and deserving Afghan refugees in provinces where land has been allocated for the construction settlements, so they can start working on building shelters, the statement said.
Also, the National Statistics and Information Authority has been tasked to send a delegation to Iran to work on identifying Afghan nationals living there and to provide necessary facilities for them regarding obtaining national identity cards, passports, continuing education, and other services.
