Trump criticizes Putin for initiating the Ukraine War; Blames Biden and Zelensky as well

KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump has recently called his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, the instigator of the Ukraine war.

According to Politico, Trump made the remarks alongside the President of El Salvador during a press conference at the White House on Monday night, where he also blamed Joe Biden, the former U.S. President, and Volodymyr Zelensky, the current Ukrainian President, for the failure to prevent the outbreak of the Ukraine war.

He emphasized that Zelensky should not have engaged in conflict with a country that is twenty times larger than Ukraine.

Trump described the war in Ukraine as horrific, resulting in significant casualties so far.

Trump underscored that this war needs to end as soon as possible, stating that if he had been president, it would never have started.

These remarks from Donald Trump come in the wake of one of the most unprecedented Russian attacks on Ukraine just two days prior, which resulted in numerous fatalities.
