Pakistani Foreign Minister to visit Afghanistan tomorrow

KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan said in a statement on Friday that Muhammad Ishaq Dar, the Foreign Minister, will travel to Kabul tomorrow at the head of a delegation.

According to the statement, during his visit, Mr. Dar is scheduled to meet with Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the Prime Minister, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, and Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The statement stated that discussions will cover all aspects of Afghanistan-Pakistan relations.

Officials from both sides will explore ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, including security, trade, regional connectivity, and people-to-people relations.

The ministry emphasized that this visit reflects Islamabad’s commitment to strengthening sustainable engagement with Kabul.

This comes shortly after a diplomatic delegation from Pakistan visited Kabul three days ago.
