KABUL: The spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, Ismail Baqaei, stated that the United States must clarify its recent contradictory positions.
Speaking to reporters at Mehrabad Airport yesterday, Baqaei mentioned that American officials have made contradicting statements in recent days, and it is essential for the U.S. to take the first step towards clarity by clearly expressing its intentions and seriousness.
The remarks from Iranian officials come as both countries are set to enter the second phase of negotiations regarding Iran’s nuclear program.
