Public Works Minister discusses various bilateral issues with Kazakh ambassador in Kabul

KABUL: Mawlavi Mohammad Isa Sani, the acting Minister of Public Works, met with Gyzat Kabasov, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, here in Kabul to discuss various bilateral issues.
During the meeting, Mawlavi Sani welcomed Ambassador Kabasov and noted the ancient trade history between Afghanistan and Kazakhstan.
He invited Afghan and Kazakh investors to engage in investments related to railway projects.
The two sides discussed increasing the transit of commercial goods to Afghanistan and through Afghanistan to other countries, as well as comprehensive talks regarding infrastructure projects in Afghanistan by Kazakhstani construction companies.
The acting minister mentioned that numerous projects in the railway sector are currently in the design and surveying phases, creating opportunities for foreign investors in this area.
At the end, both sides emphasized the importance of sustained economic and trade relations, as well as bilateral cooperation in infrastructure projects.
It is noteworthy that Kazakhstan and Afghanistan currently maintain strong trade and political relations.
