KABUL: Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has met with Mohammad Darwish, head of Hamas’s leadership council, and a number of other members of the organization’s political office.
According to Turkish media, the discussions focused on recent events in Gaza and efforts for a ceasefire.
Both sides emphasized that the prevention of humanitarian aid from entering Gaza by the Israeli regime has further exacerbated the crisis for the Palestinian people.
The meeting also highlighted the need for the international community to ensure that essential humanitarian aid reaches Gaza in a timely manner.
