KABUL: The General Directorate of Olympics, Physical Education, and Sports said in a statement that futsal competitions for Afghanistan’s eight zones begin in Kabul.
The competitions began with the participation of eight teams from the country’s eight zones, in the presence of the leadership of the National Football Federation and the Olympic, Physical Education, and Sports Committee.
In the opening match, the teams Zahir Asad and Shikposhan Nimroz faced off, with Zahir Asad winning decisively with a score of 4-0.
The competitions aim to select top teams and players for qualification into the country’s premier futsal league.
