IEA condemns deadly attack on tourists in Jammu and Kashmir

KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate in a statement on Wednesday condemned the deadly attack carried out by armed individuals on tourists in Jammu and Kashmir, administered by India.
The ministry expressed condolences to the families of the tourists targeted in the “Pahalgam” area. In the attack on tourists in Jammu and Kashmir, 26 people were killed and 27 others injured.
The Ministry stated that such attacks pose a threat to regional security.
The incident has drawn widespread reactions and caused Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to cut short his trip to Saudi Arabia.
