DOHA: Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, during his visit to Doha, met with his Qatari counterpart, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
According to a statement from the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussion focused on the current situation in Afghanistan and the ways in which Qatar can support the Afghan people.
The statement quoted the Qatari Foreign Minister as saying that his country continues to support all segments of Afghan society.
Also, Qatar has expressed its commitment to promoting peace, stability, and dignified living conditions in Afghanistan.
