KABUL: The Acting Minister of Public Health Mawlavi Noor Jalal Jalali, met with the Iranian Ambassador to Kabul Ali Reza Bigdeli, to discuss health cooperation between Kabul and Tehran.
According to a statement from the embassy on Monday, the two officials reviewed the current status of cooperation in healthcare, including medical treatment and training.
The embassy noted that both sides believe the health sector is a key and prioritized area in Iran—Afghanistan relations.
The Ministry of Public Health is focused on standardizing health services and building capacity within the country’s medical staff, welcoming support from both domestic and international sources.
