KABUL: The Helmand Police’s Counter-Terrorism Management has arrested 16 individuals in connection with keeping a huge amount of weapons and military equipment over the past month.
According to the Ministry of Interior Affairs, the seized weapons and equipment include 90 new pistols, 6 machine-gun Kalashnikovs, one sniper rifle, one grenade launcher, 20 radios, 18 magazines, 1,340 heavy weapons’ bullets, 320 Kalashnikov bullets, 65 pistols bullets, and other military equipment.
The weapons have been handed over to the relevant organs after registration, and the arrested individuals will be introduced to justice and judicial organs for further investigation.
