MoU signed between OIC and Afghan Red Crescent Society

KABUL: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoU) with the Afghan Red Crescent Society.

In a statement the OIC said on Tuesday, that the MoU has been signed to provide treatment for 30 children suffering from congenital heart diseases.

The MoU has been signed by Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al-Iaysh, the OIC representative in Afghanistan, and Shaikh Shahabuddin Delawar, the acting President of the Afghan Red Crescent Society.

The OIC described the signing of this document as an important step in health cooperation between the organization and the Afghan Red Crescent Society.

It reflects a shared commitment to reducing health challenges faced by vulnerable populations in Afghanistan.

Notably, the OIC’s activities in the country have increased over the past three years.
