Pakistan allows 150 cargo trucks from Afghanistan to transit to India

KABUL: Pakistan granted permission for 150 cargo trucks carrying goods from Afghanistan to transit through the Wagah border, Pakistani media reported on Thursday.

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry stated in a statement that this move has resolved a blockade that lasted several weeks.

This decision comes in the wake of Pakistan closing its borders to any trade with India about a week ago, following actions taken by India in response to a deadly attack in the Indian-administered Kashmir region.
