Higher Education’s Ministry revenue increased by nearly 40% in 1403

KABUL: The Ministry of Higher Education has announced a 39% increase in its revenue for the year 1403 compared to the previous year.

The ministry said in a statement today that its revenue in the year 1402 was 229,192,716 Afghanis, which has risen to 326,487,279 Afghanis in the past year.

The ministry noted that the collected amount represents a 15% increase over the target set by the Ministry of Finance.

Revenue sources include services provided through Afghan Post, an increase in master’s and doctoral programs, and the issuance of diplomas and transcripts, said the statement.

According to the press release, the Ministry of Higher Education has also created new revenue sources through its financial and accounting department and provincial private educational institutions, contributing to a 3.79% increase in its revenue.

In addition to focusing on revenue growth, the Ministry of Higher Education has prioritized improving educational services in both public and private institutions.
