KABUL: The esteemed Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Shaikh-ul Hadith Mawlavi Hebatulllah Akhundzada, participated in a one-day seminar for intelligence officials, where he delivered a speech emphasizing the importance and necessity of intelligence in governance.
According to the spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, the Supreme Leader, during his speeches, called intelligence as the backbone of the government.
“The intelligence sector is responsible for thwarting all visible and hidden destructive plans of the enemy, and the intelligence must not allow anyone to openly or covertly disrespect Islamic and religious rites,” said the leader.
He urged intelligence officials to collaborate with other institutions to implement Sharia law and shape public perceptions, as well as behave well with the people and prisoners.
