KABUL: The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has announced a four-article decree of the Supreme Leader regarding urban planning.
The decree includes recommendations for the effective utilization of urban areas, development of commercial and industrial zones, and other related topics.
In the decree, the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing, municipalities, religious leaders, and other officials have been instructed to share information regarding urban plans.
Additionally, the decree mandates that relevant Emirate authorities develop detailed plans for urban areas that currently lack such plans.
It is also noted that the Administrative Affairs and the Directorate for Monitoring and Implementation of Decrees have been tasked with overseeing the implementation of this decree.
