KABUL: A court in Kenya has ruled to extradite Zahir Qadir, the former deputy speaker of Afghanistan’s Wolesi Jirga, to the United States.
His lawyer has assured that they will request a delay in the extradition process within the next 14 days.
This comes as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate had previously tasked the Afghan embassy in Doha to coordinate with the Kenyan embassy regarding Mr. Qadir’s case.
