Ahmad al-Sharaa to meet Donald Trump in Riyadh

KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump is set to meet with Ahmad al-Sharaa, the transitional president of Syria, for discussions, CNN reported today.

This informal meeting will take place in Riyadh before Trump travels from Saudi Arabia to Doha, Qatar.

Speaking in the Saudi-American Investment Forum, Trump stated that an opportunity has been given to Syria to move towards progress.
