KABUL: The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation announced today that 50 individuals have been recently released from different prisons in Pakistan and repatriated to the country.
The individuals had been arrested in various parts of Pakistan, the statement said, adding that after release, they entered the country via the Spin Boldak port in Kandahar.
The released individuals, after registration, were transferred to their relatives’ areas.
As a result of the efforts of the Islamic Emirate, a significant number of Afghan nationals who had been detained under the pretext of lacking proper documentation have been freed from diverse prisons in Pakistan and repatriated to Afghanistan.
