KABUL: Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, CEO of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat, and Daler Jumma, Minister of Energy of Tajikistan, have pledged to work together for comprehensive stability in energy sector between Kabul and Dushanbe.
According to a statement from DABS on Thursday, the Afghan delegation, led by Mr. Omar, met with the Tajik Minister of Energy to discuss the CASA-1000 project, energy transmission, and economic issues.
The Tajik Minister of Energy emphasized that his country will work jointly with Afghanistan as an Islamic neighbor on energy transmission, stability, and security.
Mr. Omar noted that Afghanistan and Tajikistan share many commonalities and reiterated that the Islamic Emirate is committed to maintaining good political and economic relations with neighboring Islamic countries.
A delegation led by Dr. Abdul Bari Omar traveled to Tajikistan on Wednesday to participate in a meeting regarding the CASA-1000 project.
