KABUL: Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, the CEO of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS), held a video conference with officials of Turkmenistan’s electricity sector to discuss various electricity projects.
Both sides talked about the 500 kV electricity transmission project, changes at the Alwan Dashti and Karkin substations, and the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan (TAP) electricity transmission project.
Dr. Omar emphasized the need for accelerating the 500 kV electricity transmission project’s progress.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan’s electricity officials extended an invitation for him to visit Turkmenistan, assuring him of comprehensive cooperation and necessary facilities to expedite the projects.
