KABUL: The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has announced the initiation of development projects valued at over 14.5 million Afghanis in Samangan, Kandahar, and Farah provinces.
The ministry in a statement told Radio Omid, that the projects include five development initiatives worth over 7 million Afghanis in Samangan, a clean water supply network valued at 5.3 million Afghanis in Kandahar, and the reconstruction of three retaining walls measuring 152 meters at a cost of 2.2 million Afghanis in Farah.
The ministry stated that the projects in Samangan will be implemented in the Khuram Sarbagh district, in Kandahar’s Maiwand district, and Farah’s Gulistan district.
Upon completion, the projects are expected to alleviate some environmental challenges faced by residents in the mentioned districts of the provinces.
It’s noteworthy that the implementation of development projects is ongoing in various provinces to improve the living conditions of citizens across the country.
