Work on two development projects worth 260 million Afghanis begins at Badakhshan University

KABUL: The Ministry of Higher Education has announced the commencement of two development projects worth 260 million Afghanis at Badakhshan University.

Hafiz Ziaullah Hashimi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Higher Education, said in a statement today that the projects were inaugurated during the visit of Shaikh Neda Mohammad Nadeem, to northern provinces.

One of the projects is the construction of a modern teaching and treatment hospital for students of the Faculty of Medicine at Badakhshan University, valued at 200 million Afghanis.

The other project involves the construction of teaching and administrative buildings for the Faculty of Medicine, costing 60 million Afghanis.

Upon completion of these projects, the Faculty of Medicine at Badakhshan University will have improved educational and medical infrastructure.
