IEA Supreme Leader: Responsibility is not honor, but a burden

KABUL: The esteemed Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Shaikh-ul Hadith Mawlavi Hebatullah Akhundzada, participated in a one-day seminar with municipal officials, including the Mayor of Kabul and other provincial officials.

During the seminar, the Amir praised the efforts of all mayors and provided important recommendations to the attendees.

He emphasized, “Responsibility is not an honor, it is a trust, a burden on the shoulders, and an obligation to uphold the rights of the people. You now bear the responsibility for the people, and you must protect their rights and serve them in accordance with Sharia.”

The leader of the Islamic Emirate addressed the mayors, stating that municipal funds are the people’s money and should be invested in public services that bring joy to the citizens.

He further remarked, “The people of Afghanistan have suffered through many wars; they now deserve compassion and kindness. Treat the people well, assist them, and do not impose force or burden upon them. Strive for the cleanliness and organization of your cities, safeguard public interests and state funds, avoid negligence, and adhere to Sharia. The general public will be very pleased with your good service and efforts.”

It is noteworthy that the leader of the Islamic Emirate has previously participated in various conferences and seminars, delivering similar messages.
