KABUL: Mawlavi Matiul Haq Khalis, the head of Afghanistan’s National Environmental Protection Agency, met with Alexander Kozlov, Russia’s Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, on the sidelines of the “Niuski International Environmental Congress.”
During the meeting, Khalis requested cooperation to facilitate the participation of an Afghan delegation in the upcoming global climate conference (COP-30) and discussed the resumption of climate change and environmental projects in Afghanistan.
Kozlov expressed Russia’s readiness to collaborate in these areas, emphasizing a commitment to support Afghanistan in addressing climate change and environmental challenges.
