175 Development projects worth 245 million Afghanis to be implemented in Parwan

KABUL: Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada, Acting Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, during his visit to Parwan province kicked off construction work on 175 development projects costing 245 million Afghanis.

The Ministry said in a statement to Radio Omid, a ceremony held on this occasion Akhundzada stated: “ Our goal is to establish foundational and sustainable development in rural areas. These projects will not only create job opportunities for the public but will also positively impact the community’s economic growth.”

The projects include the construction of rural roads, bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and irrigation canals.

No details have been provided regarding the funding source.

Upon completion, these projects are expected to alleviate some environmental issues faced by residents of the Salang and Shinwari districts.

It is noteworthy that similar projects have been implemented in several other provinces previously.
