TEHRAN: Mawlavi Fazl Mohammad Haqani, the Islamic Emirate’s Ambassador to Iran, has stressed the importance of stability, understanding, and regional cooperation, the embassy said in a statement today.
He made the remarks during a memorial event for the first anniversary of the death of Amir Abdollahian, Iran’s former Foreign Minister, in the capital.
The ceremony was attended by high-ranking Iranian officials and diplomatic delegations from foreign countries residing in Tehran.
The remarks come as Afghan officials consistently emphasize constructive engagement with neighboring countries, the region, and the world.
