Pakistani PM during six-day visit to region met with Erdogan

KABUL: Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, has arrived in Turkey on the first day of his six-day regional tour and met with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The Prime Minister on Sunday night said in a post on his X that the discussions focused on the progress of cooperation between Islamabad and Ankara in trade and investment.
He emphasized the strong commitment of both Pakistan and Turkey to continue their close collaboration to further strengthen their “unbreakable bonds.”
Sharif expressed gratitude to Erdogan for his steadfast support during Pakistan’s recent confrontation with India, which ended with a significant victory for Pakistan.
Two days ago, Sharif commenced his six-day visit to several countries in the region, including Turkey, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, and Iran.
