Car attack on crowd in Britain leaves 27 injured

UNITED KINGDOM: As a result of a car attack in a crowded area at least 27 people including a child and an old man have been hospitalized in Britain, ABC News reported this morning.
The driver struck the crowd of dozens who were gathered outside the Liverpool club to watch the parade celebrating the football club’s championship in the English league.
British police confirmed that 27 individual, including a child and an elderly man, were taken to the hospital as a result of the incident, and the driver has been arrested by police forces.
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer reacted to the incident, describing it as “horrific.”
Details regarding the identity of the perpetrator have not yet been released.
In recent years, attacks on crowds using vehicles have significantly increased in both the U.S. and Europe, resulting in numerous casualties.
